Job Description

Hotel cleaners, also known as housekeeping staff, are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms, common areas, and facilities within a hotel. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Dust furniture and clean surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds and change linens.
• Distribute clean towels, toiletries, and other amenities.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and appliances.
• Disinfect operating rooms and other specific areas.
• Handle and report lost and found items.
• Respond to guest requests for extra supplies or services.
• Pick up debris and empty trash bins.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Perform repetitive tasks daily.
• Regular bending, crouching, and kneeling required.
• Standing for extended periods during shifts.
