Responsibilities:

List of duties to perform by Team Leader:

• Empower team to meet guest needs
• Develop IKEA Food action plan
• Implement range matrix for quality
• Serve high-volume, local market dishes
• Ensure food preparation quality
• Train co-workers on product sheets
• Maintain appealing food range
• Utilize commercial opportunities
• Propose commercial activities
• Enhance Swedishness in offerings
• Monitor market competition
• Maximize IKEA Food marketing
• Recruit, train, and develop co-workers
• Ensure kitchen team understands roles
• Train on Swedish and local recipes
• Coach co-workers for performance
• Develop successors for roles
• Promote IKEA culture and diversity
• Manage stock and food purchasing
• Ensure food safety and HACCP standards
• Maintain internal communication flow
• Support multichannel executions
• Challenge costs and encourage efficiency
• Follow SOP rules and guidelines
• Promote safety culture
• Implement IKEA HACCP plan
• Execute action plan for kitchen
• Enhance visitor experience
• Support sustainability initiatives
• Develop appealing food range
• Forecast and control food costs
• Optimize goods handling and stock

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of food service supervisory experience
• Interest and knowledge in culinary or food service industry
• Familiarity with IKEA concept and values
• Understanding of retail operations and trends
• Excellent communication skills
• Interpersonal relationship building
• Proficiency in English
• Strong customer focus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
