Rigging Supervisor Job In Qatar Full Time

A Rigging Supervisor is urgently needed to join our reputable construction company in Qatar. You will be a key player in managing rigging operations and ensuring adherence to safety rules as the rigging supervisor. The chosen applicant must hold a current NGL PTW (Permit to Work) approval from Qatar Energy.

Rigging Supervisor Responsibilities

• In charge of and overseeing rigging activities at the building site.
• Make certain that rigging tasks are completed safely and in compliance with established protocols and safety regulations.
• Make that all personnel involved in rigging activities are informed of potential risks and safety procedures by conducting pre-job safety briefings. Make sure the rigging equipment is safe to use and in good operating order by inspecting and maintaining it.
• Work together with the construction crew to successfully plan and carry out rigging activities.
  Maintain a close eye on the rigging crew’s performance and, if necessary, offer instruction and direction.
• Keep thorough records of all rigging activities, including the use of the equipment, inspection reports, and safety occurrences.

Requirements

• For rigging activities, Qatar Energy has received an NGL PTW (Permit to Work) approval.
• A track record of success as a rigging supervisor in the construction sector.
• Strong familiarity with safety procedures and rigging equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities are necessary for managing a team.
• The capacity to function under duress and deal with difficult circumstances.
• High level of detail and dedication to safety.
• Flexibility to adjust to shifting project requirements and work in shifts.
• Preferably, a valid Qatari driver’s license.
